Owner and photographer of Jubilee Opal photography

Hey! I’m Jubilee!

One thing I have always kept coming back to is Photography, I was first introduced to it through 4-H when I picked it up as one of my extra projects. By year 3, I was literally taking photos of anything and everything I could…(thank you to my sister and cousin for always letting me take their photos!) I wanted to learn everything so I learned by doing. I started photographing friend’s senior photos, families, and ultimately their weddings…and here we are 10 years later with a business that specializes in Weddings, Couples, and Families.

I Love what I do.

I love being able to create.

and I take what I do seriously knowing that what I capture isn’t just a photo, it’s somebody’s moment/memory.

Within the past 6 years I’ve not only been working on my business, but I’ve also added a couple extra titles to my name that mean the world to me.

Wife and Mama!

I married my husband Caleb and let me tell you, marriage is truly the best and being married to my best friend is something I don’t ever want to take for granted. We have 2 energetic, adventurous, independent children.  We want to raise our children to first and foremost love God, and secondly, experience all the things along side us, so we do a lot as a family!  Some of our favorite things to do together include driving around singing our hearts out, watching football, going to the lake, fishing, and exploring new places, oh and if you ask our daughter…we like going to Home Depot.

Which leads me to…

I LOVE all things DIY! God has shown me in so many countless ways that He  had such a perfect hand in bringing Caleb and I together, one of the countless things we love doing is grabbing our morning coffee and dreaming, talking through, and working on the next project for our home!

I love to get outside and Garden, even though the last 2 years maybe haven’t been the most successful…(we’re trying again next year!).  Along with that I just love the little things in life… the experiences. A song that pulls at my heart a little, a glass of wine, and simply sitting back and being present with the people sitting in front of me.
